The Association of Young Agriculturists was established in 2016 at the University Sub Campus, Mahailuppallama to make a platform for the young agriculture students who get involved with extra-curricular activities within their academic career. As the founder and the Senior Treasurer of the Society, it is indeed a great honor and privilege to write this message to the official web page of the Association of Young Agriculturists. I am very well conscious that they have made tremendous contribution to the University system and the general public through various activities which tremendously contributed to improve their attitudes, knowledge, skills while expanding their social network. Moreover, I am aware that the society was much-admired by the academic community as well as other recognized organizations, and the general public for their contributions over the last five years. While appreciating their countless services to the society, I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and congratulate all past and present office bearers and members for their enormous contribution to bringing the Association of Young Agriculturists where it is today.
